"The journey…
the journey is what brings us happiness…
not the destination."

— Dan Millman

In this world where the environmental conditions allows humanity to thrive...

There are two fundamental constants tied to our lives:

  • Time
  • Experiences

Nobody has the answer to solving the lives of different individuals. Because the unique problems each of us encountered in our lives, have to be solved by ourselves. But we can always learn from others.

The more aware we are of the repeating patterns in this world, the quicker we will be at preventing similar problems that others have encountered, from creating hurdles/disruptions in our lives.

We must also learn to balance planning ahead while living our lives. Learn to treasure our individual journeys more than the destination.

The above shows an example of the different stages of a human life...

As we can see from the image, there are certain stages of a human life where we experience common events/stories which other humans before us have went through. Some events where we can tap on advice of others are:

  • Going through school
  • Graduating from school to find a job
  • Changing jobs
  • Figuring out how to thrive in society/workplace
  • Saving up for your own futures
  • Getting married
  • Being with your parents as they grow older
  • Taking care of kids

Everyone's definition of a good life is different. But a life lived well consist of a few elements:

  • Live our lives fully
  • Create happiness in our lives and the lives of others
  • Be compassionate and speak kindly
  • Smile often and feel gratitude
  • Hope and dream more
  • Find purpose and create meaning
  • Create a positive difference
  • And taking a page from Google's corporate code of conduct - Don't be evil
