{"id":2962,"date":"2024-08-19T08:07:36","date_gmt":"2024-08-19T08:07:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gnomeledge.com\/QH2301B\/?p=2962"},"modified":"2024-08-19T08:07:37","modified_gmt":"2024-08-19T08:07:37","slug":"ite-news-127-application-of-ntuc-care-fund-education-awards","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gnomeledge.com\/QH2301B\/2024\/08\/19\/ite-news-127-application-of-ntuc-care-fund-education-awards\/","title":{"rendered":"[ITE News #127] Application of NTUC Care Fund (Education Awards)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The <strong>NTUC Care Fund (Education Awards)<\/strong> is open for <strong>Tertiary Students<\/strong> in <strong>ITEs<\/strong>\/Polytechnics\/Universities to apply &#8211; <strong>closing at 27 Aug 2024, Tuesday<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If your parent is an NTUC union member, they can check if you meet the requirements here: <a href=\"https:\/\/ucare.ntuc.org.sg\/assistance\/ProgrammeDetail?ProgrammeName=ntuc-care-fund-education-awards-for-tertiary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ucare.ntuc.org.sg\/assistance\/ProgrammeDetail?ProgrammeName=ntuc-care-fund-education-awards-for-tertiary<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students\u2019 parents who are NTUC members and wish to apply for the education award for their child\/children (\u201ccandidates\u201d) must have at least 6 continuous months of membership at the point of application and must not be in arrears.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students are children of NTUC members who study full-time course in ITE, and must progress to AY2024 or graduated in AY2023.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Total Monthly Gross Household Income of $3,800 and below, or Per Capita Income of $950 and below if Gross Household Income exceeds $3,800.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Application closes at 27 August 2024, 4pm.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NTUC members who meet the eligibility criteria may submit their applications via OneCARE at <a href=\"https:\/\/ucare.ntuc.org.sg\/assistance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ucare.ntuc.org.sg\/assistance\/<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: NTUC members are advised to submit their applications before the closing date as late submission will not be processed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful members will receive an email notification on their application outcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award quantum will be credited to the bank account submitted on OneCARE system after the Award Ceremonies in October 2024 and November 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, they may refer to the factsheet here: <a href=\"https:\/\/alep-p-001.sitecorecontenthub.cloud\/api\/public\/content\/c696b8205bd845dbaefb402fa3e0ced6?v=eb65290d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/alep-p-001.sitecorecontenthub.cloud\/api\/public\/content\/c696b8205bd845dbaefb402fa3e0ced6?v=eb65290d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Should students or their parents have any questions regarding the awards, which is managed externally by NTUC, they are to approach their Unions\/Associations or contact NTUC Virtual Assistant at <a href=\"https:\/\/ntuc.co\/chat5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">https:\/\/ntuc.co\/chat5<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The NTUC Care Fund (Education Awards) is open for Tertiary Students in ITEs\/Polytechnics\/Universities to apply &#8211; closing at 27 Aug 2024, Tuesday.
