Dear students, if you are interested in infosecurity you may wish to keep aware of the Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSTI)‘s The Infosecurity Challenge (TISC) 2023.

The first stage of the challenge involves getting Challenge Owners to submit ideas that Solvers of the upcoming TISC 2023 can resolve or decode. Basically the first stage is for the Builders of Challenges.

Imagine if you are training to be a ninja, someone have to build the gym for you to train in.

The principle is the same for those training to be forensic specialists, info-/ cyber- security personnel or certain types of analyst. Someone has to build the digital puzzles/mazes/gyms/ranges for those training in Information Security (Infosecurity) or Cybersecurity to solve.

That is why as you receive training to become a builder (of software) or creator (of information products), you will have a lot of options as to the different paths you can walk. Perhaps one day you can be competent enough to design digital creations, to help others sharpen special Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) skillsets.
