The 1st week of orientation I was so ready for ITE because finally get out of secondary school and start a new journey with new friends and new lecturers/teachers. I am a very hard guy to find friends because I’m an introvert but I get to meet my primary school friend “WeiTeck”. He still remember me because my face doesn’t changed at all. Not only that I get to meet my secondary school friends as well in ITE West College(No idea they in this school as well). We got a speech from the director itself, make new friends, get to go to Discovery Centre to do some activites over there and got a tour of the campus. I was actually shocked that college west is actually pretty big in the inside but outside it looks small. 2nd week in ITE, I was getting ready to learn and excited. To be honest the course that I choose is the subject I learn in secondary school so I already know few of the things that they taught me in secondary school so I’m 75% confident that I’m gonna do well in my course. The 3rd-5th week Is all studying and preparing for the practical test that we have in week 6-7 and the exam that is less than a month so time really flies and I have to prepared early. This is my 5 weeks in ITE I know it sounds boring and that but when u face it is actually pretty enjoyable I should say. One more thing, I’m really glad that ITE give new students this 3-years higher Nitec course so that they don’t have to stay for 4 years and get to shorten by 1 year. I’m really trying to get this thing called “In-Flight Acceleration” with this, I will get to skip 0.8 years and graduate early to shorten the year but I will need to get a GPA of 3.7 and above so I will try hard when I got the opportunity for it(really want to graduate early).
