Business Intelligence (B.I.) can take many forms, one form is the preparation of a landscape report for a market entry programme.
What does market entry programme means? Market entry is usually facilitated through a country affiliated ecosystem builder where they create “launchpads” or “insertion/starting points” to introduce their countries’ companies to new markets.
Such ecosystems are usually setup in the hopes that some of these companies may find opportunities and gain a share of the market. There are also smaller players, e.g., consultants, intermediaries and business advisors who facilitate such activities.
One example in Singapore is the Nordic Innovation House, who helps introduce Nordic tech companies to the Singapore and ASEAN markets. The Nordic Innovation House also provides their selected Nordic companies’ founders with the relevant connections to get started in their journeys.
Back in 2020, the Nordic Innovation House launched a market entry programme to bring some of their startup tech companies in the Health sectors to meet with key players in Singapore. To enable their Nordic companies in understanding the opportunities available in Singapore, they have compiled a comprehensive landscape study about Singapore’s Health Ecosystem.
