Words are one of the most important elements creating the human experience, tying our stories together.

Among the very best Wordsmith that humanity has produced, here is the history of one C.S. Lewis.

“Clive Staples Lewis was born on November 29, 1898, in Belfast, Ireland.

As a child, he missed a lot of school due to illness.

In 1916 he went to University College in Oxford, England.

He left school for a time to fight in World War I with the British Army.

After college, he became a teacher.”

He is most famously known for his “The Chronicles of Narnia book” series.

Growing up, Lewis was athletic but very shy. He was known to avoid team sports and instead went on long hikes over hills & mountains, or go cycling and swimming on his own.

He was not recognized as a genius during his youth. Rather, he was recognized in the later years of his lifetime for his bright and sharp wit & thoughts, through the combination of his literary works. While he is noted to be a genius of his time now, it was not a label associated with him, when he was growing up.

A quote below, that is commonly attributed to C. S. Lewis, delivers a key point about resilience and taking control over your future no matter your starting point.
