A few things to take note for those interested in getting started.
Your programme teaches you a bit of DIGITAL design, it is different from the traditional PRINT design (Graphic Design).
As such when designing for PRINT using either Photoshop or Illustrator please ensure your canvas is set to CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key [black]) colors.
RGB (Red-Green-Blue) is intended for designers to create visual delights for computer monitors.

Printer ink cartridges, if you have not been observing or are not aware, are in CMYK colors.

The ways colors are combined in PRINT and DIGITAL to create our visual elements are different. However, people have been looking into ways to print RGB workings.
As designers, you may have no control over the printers that will output your visual creations, so if you know it is for PRINT, using CMYK is safest.
Don’t use AI generated Art for this kind of contest. Make sure you own all your visual elements.
All the best and find new ways to level up your design skills.
