21st Jan 2024, the Sentinel Programme was launched.
“The Sentinel Programme is one of our efforts to involve our youth in Singapore’s digital defence. Our youth are our digital natives – without them taking up the mantle to safeguard Singapore’s digital realm today, we will not have a strong core of cyber defenders in future. 🦾🛡️🦾
The Sentinel Programme is now officially open to all Secondary 1 and Year 1 students in JCs, Polytechnics and ITE. I think it is a great opportunity for all interested students, as it includes opportunities to learn real-world cybersecurity and digital skills, visit defence agencies, participate in internships, and be mentored by working cyber security professionals.🧑💻👩💻
