Dear Class,
Last week Singapore (and ITE) welcomed 18 ministerial delegations and 9 observer delegations for the International Summit of the Teaching Profession (ISTP) .
This is Singapore’s first time hosting this prestigious event, it is also one of the pivotal moments of reflection as senior leaders in the education spaces around the world share ideas
, discuss concerns
that will shape the future of education
.

You belong to the generations that have to surf a lot of different waves
.
To level you up into the best surfers of the emerging waves , Singapore schools will emphasis more on opportunities where you can
build-up capabilities in:
- Creating
- Connecting
- Contributing
So that you can become:
- Creators (Can Think
, Can Do
),
- Connectors (Can Communicate
, Can Sense
) and
- Contributors (Have a Heart
, Solve the Tough Problems
)
to empower others and shape the best future environments
for yourself and others.
As always it takes two hands to clap , the schools can give your the environment, resources and lessons to build
yourself
.
But you need to be willing to take up the challenge and design the brand new you
.
Go and hear from the man, Minister Chan Chun Sing (CCS).
Those of you who says you want to be politicians or teachers catch up on the news, this will be your arena one day
.
