The Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) of Singapore is responsible for overseeing the nation’s defense and ensuring its sovereignty and security.
The mission of Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces is to enhance Singapore’s peace and security through deterrence and diplomacy, and should these fail, to secure a swift and decisive victory over the aggressor.
The Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) is the bedrock of Singapore’s defence and security, respected as a credible and professional armed forces, and a source of pride and confidence for Singapore.
