The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) is excited to announce the annual Singapore Futures Youth Competition. This in-person event will take place from 17 to 20 June 2025 at the National University of Singapore (Bukit Timah Campus).

The theme for this year’s competition is “A Thriving Digital Future for All”. Participants will explore and apply futures thinking and foresight to develop scenarios and ideas on how digital technology can empower individuals, strengthen communities and transform industries.

Benefits for Participants:

  • A certificate of participation
  • The chance to win prizes worth up to S$5,000
  • Opportunities to join LKYSPP’s events network

Interested students are required to complete the registration form by 4 April 2025. https://nus.syd1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_55OiAywNYHDcR1Q

This happens in school holidays, but need to apply now.

I highly recommend you to participate especially if you know your strengths are in strategy, future sensing and long-term thinking (or if you wish to train those areas).

Based on the info, there seems to be 4 days of training and competition, so likely will have some design thinking group work. If you are shy, best get some friends to register also so they are in the crowd.
