Yesterday was the launch of President’s Challenge 2025.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam unveiled the President’s Challenge Fellowship, which comprises three tracks that recognise individuals from different segments of society and offer them development and contribution opportunities.
Of particulate significance to ITE students (past, present and future), is the Third Track of the Challenge – ITE Inspire.
This track is intended to celebrate remarkable ITE alumni who have become role models in their respective fields, showcasing their success and impact as well as inspiring others to reach their full potential.
Supported by ITE and Singapore Business Federation Foundation, up to five Fellows will be selected each year and each Fellowwill receive $10,000 to carry out programmes to benefit the ITE community.
Applications for the ITE Inspire track can be submitted from 3 June to 18 July via ITE website <https://www.ite.edu.sg/life-at-ite/ite-inspire>. Put up a nomination if you know of any successful ITE graduate who shows the following:
- He/she has been enabled by the educational experience at ITE to grow his/her career, and attained Innovation or entrepreneurial success.
- He/she is accomplished and recognised by industry or peers.
- He/she has contributed to the Singapore industry and community and achieved national/regional impact
The President’s Challenge Fellowship, with its dedicated focus on ITE graduates, sends important messages such as how individuals from all educational backgrounds can rise to prominence and significance, and that vocational and technical education can be one important pathway to success.
