As our local laws and enforcement starts to tighten, please make sure you avoid such activities.
A police record such as underage smoking or breaking the law such as vaping is actually quite troublesome in your future.
This is because when you apply for jobs in future or to higher levels of learning e.g., diplomas and degree, they may ask if you have criminal/police record.
Even if they accept you, that means everytime you apply for a new place/opportunity, you may need to explain yourself. You will need to check the box that says yes I have a police record.
You may also lose out to opportunities that is competitive – due to such records.
This is not about how smart you are, but whether you are wise enough to appreciate that you shouldn’t create problems for yourself in your present – that will hinder the future you.
